Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Holiday tax for?

This is levied by the French government on all tourists who stay in any accommodation in France. We are required to collect it from you on arrival and pay it to the local town hall. The money helps to fund local tourist amenities.

What are my childcare options in resort?

There are nurseries for babies and 'snow gardens' for under-five's which are run by the local communes. There are also a number of privately run British nanny companies who will provide childcare in your accommodation. See our links page.

Do you provide bed linen?

Yes, all bed linen and towels are included in our prices.

Do I need to clean my self-catered accommodation at the end of my holiday?

The accommodation must be left clean and in the condition it was found (except for bed linen and towels). Most people choose to clean the acommodation themselves however some ask us to arrange for cleaning to be carried out on their behalf at an extra charge (cost depends on accommodation).

Yes, we can provide a travel cot and highchair package for a cost of 60€.

How do I get my lift passes?

You can buy them after you arrive at one of the several sales points in resort eg Tourist office and main telecabins. Please bear in mind that queues can be quite long on Saturdays and Sunday mornings at these points. Alternatively, we can order and collect your ski passes in advance for you so that they are ready in your accommodation for your arrival. This service is free of charge for customers of Alpine Pursuits.

How do I book my chosen accommodation?
