Lift Passes
There's no need to queue up for your lift passes.

If you've booked accommodation with Alpine Pursuits, we can arrange for your lift passes to be waiting for you at your chalet or apartment when you arrive at no extra cost! Just let us know at least a week before you arrive what lift passes you need and we'll sort out the rest (if you need advice on what to choose call us and we can help). We'll confirm the exact cost with you, and payment will only be taken a few days before your holiday start date.

What are the lift pass choices for skiers and boarders?

If you're staying in Morzine or Les Gets you might want to get the Morzine and Les Gets lift pass that will cover you for the local ski area. Alternatively you can go for a lift pass that covers the whole of the Portes du Soleil (12 resorts including Les Gets and Morzine). Which one you choose might depend upon several factors. Like how good (or fast, or fit!) a skier/boarder you are. How far you'd like to travel - do you fancy a trip into Switzerland, or do a day's circuit where you don't ski the same piste twice. You can really cover some distance and discover some charming mountain restaurants.

Why go for a Morzine-Les Gets lift-pass?
  • It's cheaper than the Portes du Soleil lift pass (about 60 euros cheaper for an adult 6-day pass).
  • It may be more than enough if it's your first time to the area, or if your skiing/boarding is beginner/intermediate level, or you have small children.
  • If you have lessons most days in Les Gets or Morzine so can't go too far.
Why choose a Portes du Soleil lift-pass?
  • You want to go further afield at some point, explore the wider delights of this massive ski area, perhaps drop into Switzerland for a Vin Chaud?
  • You're an experienced and competent skier/boarder and want to try new challenges.
  • You know the area pretty well (or can work it out) and how to get around/back quickly if you need to. Planning your route back to beat the lift closures is critical to avoid getting stranded - it's an expensive taxi ride back from Switzerland!
