Easy access from the channel ports in about 8-10 hours

At Morzine ~ Chalet Nicolas:

You'll find the chalet using the Morzine map as a guide.

Arriving at Morzine from Taninges by car, bear right onto Avenue de Joux Plane, and past Telecabine du Pleney on your right).

At the round-about (Hotel Floriment on your left), take the 3rd exit, then turn right after Hotel Sporting.

After about 200m up the hill turn right into the small lane signed "Les Nants".

After 80m you will find Chalet Nicolas set back about 30m on the right.
